**The City of El Penol will hold it's annual fishing tournament beginning at 10:00 AM on August 17th. Anyone can enter and prizes will be awarded in various categories.
*The Sirena Hotel will have it's own annual fishing tournament the day before the El Penol Tournament. All guests are encouraged to participate in both tournaments.
Entry for the Sirena Hotel Tournament will be $150,000 pesos per guest. $100,000 of each entry fee will be awarded as prize money for; (Starts at 7:00AM until 6:00PM)
Black Bass
1) The Largest Fish
2) Second Largest Fish
Big Fish Fry at Hotel Sirena on Saturday Night
Maximum of 25 entrants.
You may fish off the ReyNeptuno or hire a fishing guide out of El Penol or Guatape.
You will stay at the Sirena Hotel for the Tournament
Feel free to stay an extra day for some fun fishing or sightseeing of the Guatape/El Penol area.
