ISLA DEL SOL/SUN ISLAND
Sun Island is 10 hectares in size. The dam is a place with massive flora and fauna in a primary rain forest of 8.5 hectares. "Old Peñol Sun Island" project is the developer at this dam. It is going to be an area for room accommodations, a botanical garden, camping zones, artisanal fishing, and a spa are going to be built.
Con una extensión de 10 hectáreas es un lugar de exuberante flora y fauna, en un bosque primario de 8.5 hectáreas de condiciones únicas en el embalse. Allí se desarrolla el proyecto "Viejo Peñol-Isla del Sol" donde se construirá una zona de alojamiento, jardín botánico, zonas de camping, pesca artesanal y SPA.
PIEDRA DE EL MARIAL/EL MARIAL STONE
For over a century, it is a natural sanctuary dedicated to the adoration of the Divine Shepherdess. A small water fountain flows from the interior and it is said to have miracle properties. It is a perfect place to go on a pilgrimage and enjoy the beautiful landscapes.
Santuario natural dedicado a la adoración de la Divina Pastora desde hace mas de un siglo. Desde su interior brota una fuentecilla de agua, a la cual se le atribuye propiedades milagrosas. Sitio propio para ir a peregrinaciones y disfrutar de los hermosos paisajes.

Located in the municipality of San Vicente, near the boarder line of the municipality of El Peñol, its shape is similar to the El Peñol stone, but not as tall.
